The “PAIXNIDION” (Παίχνιδιον) project was a high-impact research and development initiative led by the Ionian University, specifically designed to revolutionize primary and secondary education through interactive and digital learning environments. The project bridged the gap between traditional schooling and modern technological tools, focusing on the cultural and environmental wealth of the Ionian region.
Key Objectives & Activities:
– Educational Innovation: Designing and implementing new curricula that integrate game-based learning and digital storytelling to engage students more effectively.
– Regional Collaboration: The project was developed in close partnership with the Management Agency of the Zakynthos National Marine Park and the Prefecture of Ionian Islands, ensuring that local environmental and cultural themes were central to the educational content.
