Maria Svarnia holds a BA in Humanities and Art History (The Open University, UK), a MA in Museology (University of Leicester, UK), and is a PhD candidate in Museology at the Department of Archives, Library and Museology of the Ionian University. She has collaborated with several folklore museums to curate their collections, is involved in museum marketing and Difficult Heritage, and conducts seminars and writes articles on Art History and Museology.
