Panagiotis Sarantidis’ research focuses on museum and adult learning, lifelong learning, museum pedagogy, and transformative learning, with particular emphasis on open and distance education.
Dr Sarantidis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology at the Ionian University (Corfu, Greece). He holds an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester (UK). He serves as a secondary education teacher and is a certified trainer in Adult Non-Formal Education, with extensive experience in designing and implementing educational programmes for diverse groups of adult learners.
His research interests include adult learning in museums, transformative learning, and lifelong learning. He currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Artistic Committee of the Corfu Art Gallery and is a member of the Museology Research Laboratory, the International Transformative Learning Association (ITLA), and ICOM.
