Andreas K. Grammenos is a historian, with postgraduate studies in the criticism and publication of historical sources. He has many years of activity in primary research of the local history of Corfu and in its dissemination to the general public with numerous articles, speeches and lectures. He is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University, with a focus on the interpretation of cultural heritage in guided tours. He is also a qualified tour guide for Greece and participates in bodies and committees of the sector, utilizing his research and academic experience, in the tour guide profession and the field of tours in general, with a point of reference in the promotion of cultural heritage as a pillar of sustainable tourism development.
