Aristotle-George Sakellariou worked at the Qatar Museums Directorate as Director of Conservation and Scientific Research (Museum of Islamic Art) and as Director of Collections (National Museum). He has worked on museum and archaeological projects in Malaysia, Cyprus, Oman, England, Jordan and Greece, with the focus on the care and management of museum collections. His main studies were in the Conservation of Antiquities, while he holds two postgraduate degrees, in Collections Care and in Museum Management, with long-term research on these subjects. He also holds a PhD on “Museum Representations in Popular Video Games: a 40-year study of buildings, spaces and collections”.
