Elia Vlachou is a cultural management consultant in Greece and abroad, with subjects in the study, design and implementation of museums and periodical exhibitions, educational programs, digital applications and cultural actions. She is co-founder and General Secretary of the Hellenic Institute of Steam. She has worked in art galleries, services and museums of the Ministry of Culture, while as Head of the Museum Service at the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation, she coordinated the procedures of co-financed programs, and the design of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008). She is an expert of the European Museum Academy, a judge in the international committees for the Heritage in Motion, Živa, Museums in short, Children in Museums awards.
