Dr. Sofia Paschou is a museologist-researcher and lawyer. She holds a master’s degree and a doctorate from the Ionian University. She has taught at the Department of Visual Arts and Art Sciences of the University of Ioannina, while currently, as an academic fellow, she teaches at the Department of Arts, Sound and Image of the Ionian University the following courses: Theory of Curatorial Practices, Practice of Exhibition Design and Materials, Techniques and Media of Artistic Work. She has participated in international research projects and international conferences, coordinates research activities of the Museology Laboratory of the Ionian University and is a member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM). She is a rapporteur in the field of “Museum Digital Atmosphere” which is the subject of her research, as well as museum digital ethics.
