Thomas Papakonstantinou’s research focuses on the study and educational use of primary historical sources, museum education, history teaching, and the history of education, with particular emphasis on archival and museum material.
He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University, with research on the use of historical sources in primary education for museum-education purposes. He holds a PhD in Modern Greek History from the University of Ioannina and is a graduate of the Department of Primary Education of the same university. He works as a primary school teacher.
He has participated in international and Greek conferences with published proceedings and has authored scientific articles focusing on the didactic use of primary historical sources, local press, and diplomatic archives in education and museum contexts.
