Project Overview
Pact4skills is an EU-funded initiative under the ERASMUS+ Programme 2021–2027 (Key Action 2). Led by the Open University of Cyprus, the project aims to reconcile academic curricula with the evolving demands of the labor market in the cultural sector.
By fostering a new generation of professionals equipped with transversal skills, the project supports the digital and social transformation of museums and cultural institutions across Europe.
Key Objectives
– Upskilling Higher Education (HE) Students: Empowering students to become a bridge between digital industries and cultural institutions.
– Museum Sector Transformation: Supporting the shift toward digital readiness and social inclusivity within the heritage sphere.
– Transversal Competences: Developing validated training in Digital, Intercultural, Social, and Entrepreneurial skills as required by the EU Digital Education Action Plan.

Learning & Certification
The project has developed a comprehensive MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) featuring four specialized modules. Upon successful completion, learners are awarded the Pact4skills Open Badge, certifying their proficiency in digital and entrepreneurial museum management.
