Project overview:
FLUSEUM is a cutting-edge research project hosted by the Museology Lab of the Ionian University. The project focuses on revolutionizing the visitor experience by analyzing “museum flow”—the physical and emotional journey of visitors within cultural spaces.
By leveraging Big Data protocols, FLUSEUM aims to develop intelligent, personalized digital tour guides. These guides adapt to individual visitor preferences and behaviors in real-time, transforming a standard museum visit into a tailor-made educational experience.
Key Objectives:
Data-Driven Insights: Analyzing visitor movement and engagement patterns using advanced data analytics.
– Personalization: Creating algorithmic frameworks for digital guides that cater to diverse audience profiles.
Innovation in Museology: Bridging the gap between traditional curatorial practices and modern digital technologies (GLAM sector).
