Presentation of the Biography Born a Winner: The Life of Giannis Ioannidis
The Museology Research Laboratory of Ionian University, in collaboration with Psychogios Publications, organised the presentation of the biography of legendary Greek basketball coach Giannis Ioannidis, entitled Born a Winner (Γεννημένος Νικητής), written by Dimitris Karydas and Vassilis Skountis.
The event brought together perspectives from journalism, sports history and academic research, exploring the life, career and legacy of one of the most influential figures in Greek basketball.
The discussion was moderated by Prof. Georgios Papaioannou, Director of the Museology Research Laboratory, while Dr Akis Pavlogiannis, lecturer at Ionian University and collaborator of the Laboratory, contributed a scholarly perspective to the discussion.
The event formed part of the public and cultural activities of the Museology Research Laboratory, highlighting its interest in bringing together academic research, cultural practice and contemporary aspects of Greek social and cultural life.
